Our Team

Mark Tucker

Mark Tucker has been Managing Director and Founder of Aspen Equity Partners since 2009.  He has spent his career in the investment and financial services industry.

As the founder of Aspen Equity Partners, he is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and overseeing each investment.  He has raised more than $15 million and invested in several asset classes, including mobile home parks (8 deals), self-storage (2 deals), medical office (3 deals), apartments (7 deals) and various mixed use projects.  He also oversees all investor relations – raising assets, investor communication and distributions.  In addition to the individual projects, he is managing a broad-based real estate fund – Aspen Equity RE Opportunities.

Previously, he was Managing Director of Retirement Plan sales and marketing for Claymore Securities. While at Claymore, he designed and marketed a family of collective funds utilizing exchange-traded funds (ETF’s) from multiple providers. He was also a partner with Administrative Management Group (AMG) for 15 years. Prior to the sale of the firm to Lincoln Financial Group, he was responsible for sales, marketing and client relationships. In this role, he worked with consultants and RIA’s on plan design, asset allocation, investment selection and employee communications.

Mark obtained an MBA degree with concentrations in finance and real estate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Business Economics from Wheaton College.

Rusty Popp

Rusty Popp is an Illinois and Indiana licensed real estate broker, an Illinois licensed Community Association Manager. He is also the President of Henninger Popp Ltd., a boutique real estate company with property management, development and construction, commercial and residential brokerage services.

Rusty heads up the mobile home property management operations for Aspen Equity Partners.  He currently oversees more than 1500 units from single family homes and apartments to condo associations and mobile home parks. He currently owns and operates 12 mobile home parks in 5 states, has been managing multiple unit properties for 13 years, and has owned and managed mobile home parks for 12 years.

Rusty is a member of the Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Kentucky Manufactured Housing Associations.  He has served on the board of the Illinois MHA.

Rusty obtained his BA and master’s degrees from Wheaton College.

Kyle Hart

Kyle Hart founded Prairie Asset Partners LLC in 2019. He has spent his career in real estate and operations.

Previously, he was Regional Property Manager for Henninger Popp Ltd. While at Henninger Popp, he managed a wide array of real estate assets located throughout four different states.

Prior to Henninger Popp, he was a  junior officer in the Army Engineer Corps for four years. As a Detachment Commander, he led a specialized unit; in charge of Military Working Dog Team demining and engineer detection support operations throughout the theater of Afghanistan.

Kyle is currently working towards an MA degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois-Springfield. Kyle has a BA of History from Wheaton College and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.

Lisa Lofgren

Lisa Lofgren specializes in commercial property management. Her career background began 1988 in banking with a focus on residential and commercial lending including FHA, VA and SBA loans. Lisa was a Private Banking Credit Analyst for Wells Fargo Bank working with high net worth individuals and families before joining a Private Investment group as their Vice President of Operations in 2003. As Vice President, Lisa managed the day to day operations of the commercial real estate portfolio for the company as well as with working with the real estate acquisitions team for the group.

In 2018 Lisa opened her own company, Lofgren Management Company, providing property management and oversight services to commercial real estate investors.

Laurie Henkle

Laurie Henkle has enjoyed a successful entrepreneurial career spanning the last 30 years. She has been involved in a wide variety of business ventures, launching the first from her college dorm room in 1985. Laurie ran Brindar Design, Inc. a women’s specialty clothing company that grew to serve over 5000 accounts in the golf, gift and resort apparel markets until 2003 when she sold it.

Additionally, Laurie owns and operates light industrial commercial space, multiple storage facilities, residential real estate and more recently has acquired ownership in a 300-boat storage facility in Rogers, Ark.

In 1995, she founded NOE International which now serves over 1000 young people and their families in four different community centers located in Morelia, Mexico.

Laurie obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
